Well Excuuuuuse me! That hawk nose man in the old-fashioned coat and top hat is ‘bout as pleasant as a spoiled egg on PawPaw’s toast! Ding dang! It’s that sad, sanctimonious Scrooge and he’s right smack here in Madison! Momma give Scrooge one of those beautiful Historical Society Christmas Tour supplements so he can get happy in the same britches he got mad in! What is that! Yes! Scrooge is smilin’ and doin’ a little dance step ‘cause he’s ready to shop local!

That’s right y’all! The Christmas tour is here December 2nd  and 3rd and it’s gonna be the best one yet! Just check out the fab supplement in this week’s paper! It’s all happenin’ y’all! I’m talkin’ in addition to the tour, BB&G located at 115 South Main Street in downtown Madison is hostin’ a Jewelry Trunk Show Saturday, Dec. 3 from 1 p.m. til 5 p.m.! Be there! Plus at Canavan Home & Arts located at 125 West Jefferson St., in Madison, there’s gonna be a book signin’ with Madison Author Dr. Marilyn S. Snow! She’ll be signin’ copies of her book “Out of the Silence, a Charlotte Cunningham Mystery!” Honey this book is set in 1848 Madison and a ding dang ghost is among the characters! Yikes! Go get your copy immediately!

Hey and y’all check out the full-page ad in the Tour Supplement from The Cottages on Mergendollar! They are hostin’ a tour Dec. 2 and 3 from 11 a.m. til 4 p.m. These cottages date back to the early 1800s and are located in Good Hope, Georgia!

Hey and on Dec. 8 get over to The Madison Artists Guild Gallery’s 16th Annual Gingerbread Workshop at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center Annex from 6:30 til 8 p.m.!  Tickets are $17 per house for non-members, $15 for guild members, $20 if purchased at the door! So pick up your ticket early at the Madison Artists Guild Gallery on Main Street!
