Next up: Best Biz Buzz Buys!

Ok y’all! I have flat found the best, most comfy summertime dress EVER! You will find it at Laughing Moon on Main Street in downtown Madison! Ok so it’s a fab Halle Dress by Natural Life and comes in several colors.  I must confess that I didn’t find this Best Biz Buzz buy on my own! A friend wore one at the beach durin’ Spring Break and I flat loved it sooo much I had to get over to Laughing Moon and get one of my very own! It features an A-Line shape, racer-back detail and a hemline that rests above the knee! Laughing Moon is selling them for only $36! Now that’s a ding dang deal! Buy two! Buy three!

Another Best Biz Buzz Buy is the beautiful bird feeders made by Chicken Tracks artists Elizabeth Collins and Chuck Hanes! I found one at Madison Fest last weekend and flat love it! Ok so these bird feeders are one-of-a-kind works of art! They feature a large glass rock (available in different colors) and a hand-made, beautifully glazed, pottery bowl. Honey if you want to have the most beautiful bird feeder in the world, then head over to the Madison Artists Guild Gallery located on Main Street in downtown Madison and get one immediately! They are priced around $85!

Right so this week’s final Best Biz Buzz Buy can be found at LilyWind Kids located on West Washington Street in front of Town Park! As all y’all know, owner Henri Moon sells hand-made gifts and items for children and teens but there’s one item that adults of all ages love and it’s the super soft Minky Dot Pillow Cases! These are the bomb! They are handmade and are great gifts for anyone! Plus they are priced right at about $22.50 or so. Oh but Henri wanted me to tell y’all that other best buys this time of year are the bath wraps made with super soft Minky Dot fabric and the hooded towels! Y’all get over there immediately and check it out!

Hey and speakin’ of Madison Fest . . . Thank you to everyone who dropped by the Morgan County Citizen/Lake Oconee Living booth – especially to the many folks who subscribed or re-upped their subscriptions! It was fabulous! And, a big THANK YOU to Madison’s Main Street who organized and coordinated this fabulous annual event!

Shoot fire! I almost forgot! United Bank is holdin’ its Piggy Bank Day on Saturday, May 13 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. so mark your calendars!  Bring your child’s Social Security card and any child who opens up a Minor Savings Account will get a fun Piggy Bank! Get over there!

Yikes! We’re outta space! Outta time! But don’t y’all cry cause: You’re all invited back next week to this locality to have a heapin’ helpin’ of Citizen hospitality. Biz Buzz that is. Set awhile. Take your shoes off. Y’all come back now, ya hear?
