The Morgan County runners had a great day at the 2017 8-AAA Region Meet held in Jefferson this year and hosted by East Jackson.  Morgan’s boys finished fourth earning them a pass to attend and compete in the State Championship Cross-Country meet to be held at Carrollton this Saturday, Nov. 4.  Coach Erin Spinks commented, “This is the meet that we train for all season.  We had some big competition this year, but our boys ended the race in fourth.  Our girls came in fifth but fought a great fight.  I am proud of each of our runners.  Many of them celebrated personal records and were able to see great growth in their race times.”
