While stopped, reports state, a single gunshot penetrated the passenger window and struck Robertson in the jaw. Robertson’s family drove him to Morgan Memorial Hospital and he was later transferred to Atlanta Medical Center. Robertson is enrolled at Morgan County Foothills Education Charter High School. According to Sgt. Wes Thompson with the Madison Police Department, Robertson has been discharged from the hospital.
According to reports, the driver of a 2006 Ford Fusion, in which Robertson was a passenger, told officers he pulled up to a stop sign and then heard a shot.
