James Wade Pike, 74, of Madison, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Pruitt Health Nursing Home in Ocilla, GA.
Mr. Pike was born on August 24, 1943, the son of Jessie Wade Pike and Annie Flora O’Neal Pike in Manchester. He was a barber, and owned his own barbershop, Hairmastery, in Madison, where he worked for 25 years until his retirement in 2016. Mr. Pike was preceded in death by his parents.
James Wade Pike is survived by three daughters, Regina Pike, Heather Pike, and Cecelia (Stephen) Bodnar; two brothers, Rev. Kenneth (Beverly) Pike, of Valley, Ala. and John (Judy) Pike, of Manchester; three sisters, Cynthia Tucker, of Fitzgerald, Sue (Billy) McDaniel, of Shiloh, and Beverly (Tim) Shelton, of Shiloh; and four grandchildren, Faith Byrd, Colby Byrd, Ethan Pike, and Silvey Bodnar.
A graveside service for Mr. Pike was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4th at Meriwether Memory Gardens in Manchester. Rev. Kenneth Pike officiated the service.
