Quantum Entanglement. Momma! That time machine ain’t broke! Just give it a good old-fashioned whack and program it to the summer of 1972! I’m talkin’ wacky pants, long hair, funky shades and groovy music! Hit the GO button and let’s split this scene! Who, what, when, where, how? Ding dang! My physicdellic hot pants and go-go boots are like crazy wild! Momma! You’re hair’s all poofed and I flat dig that fab Beatnik jumpsuit apparatus! Hey! Madison sure does look different back here in 1972! What the? Do you hear that? Well tie me to a pig and roll me in the mud! It’s Donald Fagan, Walter Becker and Elliott Randall! Steely Dan! Yay! It’s Street Dance on the East Side! Hit it with that famous guitar solo intro Elliott! Yeah! “Your everlasting summer you can see it fading fast, so you grab a piece of something that you think is gonna last. You wouldn’t know a diamond if you held it in your hand. The things you think are precious I can’t understand. Are you reelin’ in the years, stowin’ away the time. Are you gatherin’ up the tears. Have you had enough of mine . . .”

Talk ‘bout a trip! We made it back to 2009! Time travelin’ and go-go dancin’ sure do build up an appetite! Come on y’all! Let’s head up to Town 220 located at 220 West Washington Street on the Madison Markets campus and see what’s shakin’! Hey Francisco de la Torre, owner and famous chef, wants me to be sure to tell all y’all that Town 220 offers elegant dining at casual prices. . . Kinda like drinkin’ Champaign and payin’ beer prices! I can dig it! Honey they even have some new moderately priced wines by the glass for $6.50! Perf! But the real star at Town is food priced just right! I’m talkin’ prices for lunch range generally from $8 to $12 for great pasta, Panini dishes, burgers, quesadillas, pork chops and more. For dinner, prices range anywhere from $14 for chicken piccatta or baby back ribs to $16 for Kobe Beef Sirloin Steak! Y’all head over to Town 220 and check it out! Oh and don’t forget to check out the new private dining room that you can reserve for parties and that fab patio dining area!

Honey, Jolene’s already done bought us a small but fantastic grand piano and the first performance will take place Friday, June 12 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m., with Peyson Moss! Jerry says this guy is a “mega talent!” Some of y’all have already heard Peyson ‘cause he plays at Madison Presbyterian Church. Anyhow, Jerry says sometimes they’ll have two players! This is gonna be a BLAST! I mean we can pop over there, sit down and enjoy some fantastic music with our wine or beer! Can’t wait.
