A Morgan County man forgot to check his pockets prior to meeting with his parole officer on Monday.
Ryan O’Neal Parrish, 24, Bishop, was arrested moments after he emptied his pockets at the Morgan County Detention Center and deputies allegedly found a single piece of suspected crack cocaine in his pocket.
According to reports, Parrish reported to his parole officer with the knowledge that authorities had an outstanding warrant against Parrish. While Parrish was being arrested at the detention center he was asked to clear his pockets when the alleged crack was discovered.
Parrish now faces felony charges of possession of crack cocaine.
