Emma Marie Dantice
Emma Marie Dantice, 86, of Bostwick died June 26, 2009. She was a native of St. Louis, Missouri. During World War II she worked in Seattle, Washington, at an aircraft manufacturing facility. Later she was married to Claude A. Dantice, who preceded her in death. While in St. Louis she worked at the Veteran’s Hospital in the canteen. Mrs. Dantice was a member of Faith Lutheran Church where she taught third grade Sunday school for 34 years. She was also active in the Women’s Ministry. Several years ago she moved to Bostwick to be near her family. Once here she became involved in Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church, where she enjoyed the Ladies Bible Class. She also worked at the Clothes Closet.
She is survived by her children, Darlene Marie Graham of Nixa, Missouri, and David Dantice and Jeanette of Bostwick; seven grandchildren, Peggy Rickets, Jess A. Dantice, Carrie VanDeMark, John D. Graham, Charity Middleton, Mark Graham and Matt Graham; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held Sunday, June 28 at 3 p.m. at Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church. Interment took place on July 1 at Jackson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Gibbs Memorial Baptist Church.
