    Who in the Sam Hill is tinklin’ all those bells? Why are millions of magic fireflies flashin’ and frolickin’ and who’s splashin’, hoopin’ and hollerin’ in my backyard in the middle of the ding dang night? Hells bells, Momma! It’s against the law to skinny dip in my new revenue stream! Hey . . . Wait a dadblasted minute! Tinklin’ bells plus millions of magic fireflies plus a bonafied backyard revenue stream filled with sparklin’ sterlin’ silver dollars can only mean one thing! I’m dreamin’! Not only that, but I’m havin’ one of them fancy Lucid Dreams! This is oh sooo Perf! Hey Momma! I can translate firefly blinkin’ code and those fireflies want us to follow ‘em to Town Park in downtown Madison! Feet up! Let’s fly! SWOOSH! Oh! My! Gosh! Y’all! Dream flyin’ with fireflies is the coolest fun EVER! Swoopin’! Soarin’! Up, up, up through moon and stars! I’m never ever comin’ down! What’s that down there? Town Park is all a glow! There’s a concert goin’ on with picnics, artists, fire dancers and more! Let’s join the fun and land right smack NOW! SPLASH! What the? Ding dang! It’s Madison Police Chief Travis Stapp headin’ straight for us! We’re gonna get flat arrested for swimmin’ in the new Town Park Fountain and we haven’t even been sippin’ White Lightenin’!  Beep, beep, beep. Beep, beep, beep. Hit Snooze. Ding dang! The dream’s over! 

    Rinnnng! Rinnnng! Hold on y’all and let me get the phone! I’ll be back in a flash! Right! So . . . ok y’all! I must have E.S.P. ‘cause that was Madison Main Street Director Ann Huff with the City of Madison and she wanted me to tell all y’all that there’s gonna be the first EVER Firefly Festival from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1 at Town Park in Madison!  Super fantastic! Here’s the net net (which is firefly code for the blink blink):  Friday night, July 31 there’s gonna be a fun concert with this fab band called Glow! And, everybody’s gonna bring a picnic! Hey and local restaurants are gonna be offering really yummy Firefly Basket picnics! I love it! Oh and the Madison Artist Guild is gonna have a Twilight Plein Air Paintout & Silent Auction and there’s gonna be all sorts of craft events for kids in the Children’s garden! It’s all free on Friday night!  On Saturday night, August 1, we get to frolic with the Fire Dancers in a really special performance (a family ticket is only $20) and there’ll be all kinds of children’s activities like face painting, balloon animals and inflatables! This is flat gonna be SPECTACULAR! Hey and it’s a super special event to celebrate Madison’s Bicentennial and we’re gonna have a Firefly Festival every year from now on! LOVE IT!
    Mooooo Whoooo! Hey and y’all don’t forget to celebrate Cow Appreciation Day this Friday, July 10 at Chick-fil-A in Madison at 1781 Eatonton Road in front of Lowes! Right! So all you have to do is dress up in a really fun Cow Costume and you’ll get a FREE MEAL! That’s what I’m talkin’ ‘bout! I’ll see all y’all at Chick-fil-A on Friday! Isn’t that just Mooovelous!
