Monica Callahan and Ken Kocher attended a party in honor of their upcoming wedding in Monticello Monday, March 24th. The party was hosted by Mayor Susan Holmes, Chris and Jenny Segal, Dean and Theresa Bishop and John Copelan.

Dorothy Cabaniss has returned home following a visit with her children and their families. She visited Dee and Neil Pederson and little Calla in Sparkill, New York, and Laura and Kevin Kreutter and children in Plainsboro, N.J.

Ms. Sally Lockwood recently attended her 25th Class Reunion at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta. She is past president of the Emory Law Alumni/ae Association.

Pat West Dent, a former Madisonian, stopped in Madison recently and visited with her friend Carol Cross.

Meredith Cleland entertained her friends Sara Harvey and Katie Lewand, who traveled from Oxford, Miss., on their Spring break.

Mrs. S. P. Landry was an outpatient at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens last week for a secondary cataract laser treatment.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Thurmond spent the weekend at Wormsloe Plantation on Ossabau Island, Savannah and attended the board meeting for the Georgia Conservancy.

Patsy Harris attended a bridal luncheon Saturday, March 22, for SooOK Elsie Hausmann, fiancée of Lt. John Urso, at Southern Oaks in Fayetteville. Mr. Urso is Mrs. Harris’ son.

Bill and Lisa Fralick and children have returned from Hurlock, Maryland where they went to attend the funeral of Bill’s uncle, Louis Holecheck on Friday.

wood, a freshman at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C., spent several days visiting his parents in Madison and Atlanta before joining friends from Wake Forest at Beaver Creek, Colorado for spring break. He has returned to Wake Forest to complete the spring semester.
