• The Rutledge City Council will hold a public discussion about the annual budget on Thursday, September 3 in Rutledge City Hall. The council will consider adoption of the around $400,000 budget the following Thursday.
Council members will put budget money toward improving the park entertainment area.
The council doesn't anticipate any dissent in regards to the proposed budget. "We do not waste taxpayer money," council member James Bratcher said.
