Bethany Brooks Peeples and Justin Brandon Berghoff

Bethany Brooke Peeples and Justin Brandon Berghoff were united in holy matrimony May 16, 2009. The enchanting outdoor ceremony took place at the Historic Swan House and Gardens, Atlanta History Center, Atlanta.

Miss Peeples is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James F. Peeples of Anderson, Indiana, Mrs. Denis Dutka of Piggott, Arkansas and the late Mr. Dutka of Olive Branch, Mississippi. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Victor L. Peeples of Madison.

Mr. Berghoff is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Berghoff of Hudson, Ohio, Mrs. Joann Atchison and the late Ray L. Robison of Griffin. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Berghoff of Hudson, Ohio.
On the spring eve of the union the grounds were spellbinding, lush with cascading roses and their lingering perfume.

Classical nuptial music was provided by After Five string quartet. The seating of the grandmothers and mothers, "Clair de lune," Debussy. The wedding party processional, "Air on G String," Bach. The bridal processional, "Canon in D major," Pachelbel. The recessional, "Wedding March," Mendelssohn.
Leon Dutka great uncle of the bride officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

Given in marriage by her parents the bride was stunning in a full-skirted Italian silk radizimir gown, with elegant spaghetti straps. Her hair was worn in a simple but chic chignon, adorned with a peony and draped in a veil. The veil was her something borrowed from a dear friend and bridesmaid.

The bride carried a beautiful bouquet of white peonies accented with lavender and edged in lambs’ ear.
Dixie Dawn Peeples of Atlanta, sister of the bride was her maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jamie Wheatley, cousin of the bride from California, Miss Jessica Alig, cousin of the bride, from New York, Miss Samantha Bullock, friend of the bride from California and Mrs. Tricia Gockstetter, friend of the bride from Ohio.

The bridesmaids wore identical pewter, Grecian, floor length silk dresses and carried delicate bouquets of sweet peas.

Jon Paul Giorgi of Atlanta, friend of the groom was the best man.

Groomsmen were Alex Wolf friend of the groom of New York, Brian Huefner friend of the groom of Atlanta, Chris Champion friend of the groom of Atlanta, and Jeff Altenau friend of the groom of New York.
The men were classically attired in traditional black tuxedos.

Following the ceremony cocktails and horsd’ovevres were served in the boxwood garden with guided tours through the historic Swan House.

A set down dinner and dancing followed in the Grand-Overlook Ballroom at the Atlanta History Center. A fairy-tale evening concluded in a send-off to the bride and groom.

The lovely rehearsal dinner was held on May 15 at “103 West,” hosted by the groom’s parents Mr. and Mrs. James H. Berghoff.

Following a honeymoon to Costa Rica the happy couple will reside in Atlanta.
