Mr. and Mrs. Scott Matthew Carey of Bostwick, Georgia, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Catherine Carey to Mr. Aubrey Terence Duncan, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Terence Duncan, Sr. of Americus, Georgia.

Miss Carey is the granddaughter of Mrs. Runae Peters Daws and the late Hart Sibley Daws of Rutledge, Georgia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Tap Mathew Carey of Bostwick, Georgia. She is a 2002 graduate of George Walton Academy and a 2006 graduate of the University of Georgia. While at Georgia, she was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Miss Carey received her law degree from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in May.

Mr. Duncan is the grandson of Mrs. Mary Wilkinson and the late Marvin Glynn Wilkinson of Fort Deposit, Alabama, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Clifford Duncan of Fort Deposit, Alabama. He is a 1998 graduate of Southland Academy and a 2001 graduate of Auburn University. While at Auburn, he was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity. He is employed at Holden & Associates in Savannah, Georgia.

An August wedding is planned at Americus First United Methodist Church, after which the couple will reside in Savannah, Georgia.
