    Thanksgivin’! I flat can’t wait! Come on y’all! Let’s all head over to Town Park in downtown Madison, stand in a Big Circle of Love, hold hands and sing it: Over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house we go! What? It’s my cell. . . Yay! It’s MeeMaw! Hells Bells! Meemaw and PawPaw say Thanksgivin’ is a naw, naw! Dang it!
    Where is the Biz Buzz gonna have her Thanksgivin’ feast? I mean, I ain’t cookin’, Momma ain’t cookin’, MeeMaw ain’t cookin’, Sista ain’t cookin’, Bubba ain’t cookin’, even mean ole Aunt Elmira Gulch ain’t cookin’! Wait a minute!
    Hope and Glory! The gloomy clouds are a partin’ and the sunshine is pourin’ in! We do have a place to go for Thanksgivin’ and we don’t have to cook or clean up a big fat mess!
    Right! All you have to do is look in this issue of the Morgan County Citizen for two special ads promotin’ special Thanksgivin’ Day celebrations! Yay!
    Southern Cross Ranch located at 1670 Bethany Church Road is havin’ a fab Thanksgivin’ Feast on Thanksgivin’ Day, Nov. 25 with all the fixin’s . . . turkey, ham, lamb, mashed potatoes, stuffin’ and more! Now that’s slap yo momma good! Seatin’ times are from noon til 2 p.m.

    But that’s not all! Town 220 Chef and Owner Francisco De La Torre wanted me to let y’all know Town 220 located at 220 West Washington St., in the Madison Markets campus, is hostin’ a Thanksgivin’ Buffet on Thanksgivin’, Nov. 25 with a yumalishous menu of turkey, ham, prime rib au jus, Chef’s famous dressin’ (and he won’t give out the secret recipe), cranberry sauce, yams and more yams, whipped potatoes, sautéed veggies, shrimp penne pasta, and, more! Like salad, fruit salad, carrot curry soup, pumpkin pie, cheesecake and bread pudding!
    Lord have mercy! I’m a gonna have to wear my elastic stretch pants! Y’all call Town 220 at 706-752-1445 for reservations!
    And, honey I’m always sleepy after that Thanksgivin’ feast so it’s time tooooo . . . .
     PJ Party Harty! I’m talkin’ ‘bout Godfrey Cox located at 127 South Main St., in downtown Madison and their Pajama Party slated for Saturday, Nov. 27! Ok y’all!     Celebrity sightin! Y’all are flat not gonna believe who was spotted in Madison last week! That’s right! Honey the other night at Belles Beaux and Gifts in downtown Madison during their Trunk Show event two real live famous celebrities popped in unannounced! None other than Marianne Gordon Rogers, a star on Momma’s all-time favorite show Hee Haw (and former wife of Kenny Rogers) and her famous friend Phyllis George, the 1971 Miss America from Texas (and former First Lady of Kentucky when she was married to her former husband the former Kentucky Governor John Brown) and one of America’s first females to cover sports on CBS Sports The NFL Today!
    Ding dang! These ladies have flat done all right and without all those husbands if you ask me!
    Anyhow, they had them a right fun time!
    Donna Prior of Companion Animal Rescue wanted me to tell all y’all the winner of their raffle for two free roundtrip tickets to anywhere in the U.S. on AirTran was Donna Bryans Gensler of Atlanta! 
    They raised lots of money and had a big ole time at Perk Avenue Friday night with fab entertainment from Jim Sherman!
    Ouch! Ding dang it! Now that flu shot sure did hurt, but honey you’ve just gotta have it! Y’all head on over to Thrifty Mac Drug located at 218 South Main St., in Madison and get your shot or Momma’s gonna come over there and slap you so hard your clothes will be outta style! Yikes!
    Hey! Faye Craft of the Madison Chop House Grille wanted me to tell all Veterans a Big Thank You! Now as most of y’all know . . . the Chop House held a Veterans Day event offerin’ any veteran a free meal on Veterans Day!
    Faye says 140 veterans visited the restaurant and the Chop House was honored to serve them! What a great promotion Chop House!
    Light up your Life! Listen up y’all! Madison Main Street Director Ann Huff says all downtown Madison businesses need to turn on their Holiday lights Friday before they leave for the day!
    Don’t make Ann come over there to check out your outlet! Double yikes!
    Tonight! It’s happenin’! All over town and then some! It all starts today, this Thursday, Nov. 18 with Chamber After Hours hosted at Le Petit Jardin located at 231 Hancock St., in Madison from 5 p.m. until 6:30!
    Y’all come and network and check out this beautiful new shop!
    Also, this Thursday check out Girls Night Out at Barkin’ Dogs Shoe Co. and Amelia’s located at 172 South Main Street! These two shops are gonna rock with special deals, refreshments, prizes and more from 4 p.m. til 8 p.m.! Be there or get left out of the fun!

Plus Molly Lesnikowski, owner of Red Doors Studio located at 104 West Main St., in Rutledge has flat invited all of us to her Open House party on Nov. 19 from 6 p.m. til 9 p.m.! This is one of my most favorite holiday parties EVER!
