Here’s all the scoop and nothin’ but: It’s gonna be called Live Well Salon & Spa and it’ll be located in back of Back to Wellness at 133B Fairplay St., in downtown Rutledge! Tracie says she’s gonna offer up all salon services for men, women and kids, includin’ color treatments and foils (of course I know nothin’ ‘bout that), haircuts and stylin’ plus manicures and pedicures! Love it! Oh and the spa services are gonna flip you out! Tracie is gonna offer facials, body wraps and full body waxin’! Ding dang is right y’all! Plus those body wraps like the sea mineral wrap help detox your body so Momma’s gettin’ one of those immediately! Shhhhhh! Y’all don’t make a big racket! I wanna sneak into Madison’s newest antique shop in the big yellow house located at 270 South Main Street! OK! In my previous column ‘bout this new antique shop I said they were gonna call it The Manley Bearden House Antiques but don’t you know those girls went and changed their ding dang minds and now this cool new shop is gonna be called The Mierer House Antiques! I flat popped over there the other day to check it all out and it’s BEAUTIFUL! Y’all are flat gonna love it! Madisonian Paulette Long said y’all could even sneak a peek this weekend if you’re out ‘n ‘bout on Saturday! They’ve got eight spacious showrooms that they’re decoratin’ just like real rooms! Oh and that house is flat haunted so I know those ghosts over there are happy to have these beautiful antiques all ‘round! I almost forgot! Paulette says they’re gonna have them an Open House on Feb. 26 from 5 p.m. til 8 p.m. with refreshments! Now that’s what I’m talkin’ ‘bout!
Speakin’ of ghosts, there are like four of ‘em livin’ (or whatever it is they do) at Keith Rex’s newest shop on Main Street in Madison called Just Out of the Kloset! One of Keith’s dealers popped over to see him when he opened and honey she flat saw a ding dang ghost! Love it!

Put down that spatula immediately! Honey I flat ain’t cookin’ for Super Bowl Sunday! That’s ‘cause the home of Morgan County’s Best Cheese Burger in the World is flat got some specials I can order and pick up! I’m talkin’ ‘bout The General Store located at 4420 Buckhead Road in Buckhead! They’ve got them some delish Super Bowl Specials like Rib Racks, Whole Butts, Smoked Wings, Pulled Pork Sliders and signature artisan cheese trays! Y’all call Tim or Jessica at 706-342-3443! It’s that good! Get over there, try it out and order your Super Bowl Supper!

Madison’s Le Petit Jardin is too cool for school y’all! Last weekend they exhibited at the Georgia Bridal Show hosted by Elite Bridal Events in Athens at the Classic Center! OK so there were like 50 exhibitors and Le Petit Jardin, located at 231 Hancock Street in Madison, WON THE PRIZE FOR BEST BOOTH! In case you don’t know, Le Petit Jardin is a shop that has fabulous garden accessories, plants and more . . . But they also do fantastic flower arrangements and are a favorite florist for brides! Their style is classic, simple elegance! Right, so owner Debbie Accetturo told me there were 800 attendees at the show and 285 brides! I LOVE IT! Especially since our fabulous Madison-Morgan Chamber of Commerce is plannin’ on hostin’ a cool bridal show in Madison next winter! More on that later!
