I must be STUPID! I’m talkin’ the stove’s on but ain’t nobody cookin’! Why in the Sam Hill did I tell Momma I’d host her dad blasted Morgan County Storm Chasin’ Meetin’ at my house tonight! I mean really! Nerd-Alert! Nerd-Alert! Somebody shake me up a martini ‘cause honey it’s gonna . . . RINNNNG! RINNNNG! Hold on! What the? That was a Morgan County Red Alert call! But wait! Here comes Momma in . . . Oh. My. Ever. Livin’. Gosh! She’s done ruined PawPaw’s pickup! He’s gonna have a flyin’ fit when he sees that big ole ugly satellite dish in the back of the cab and those antenna flyin’ up every which way in Tarnation! Momma! A storm’s a comin’! Let’s take cover immediately! Whoa! She’s backin’ out like a bat outta hell fire! Plus she’s left me here with all these Storm Chasin’ Fools and they’ve getting’ into my Martini fixins’! Y’all get over here and HELP me immediately!

Whew! Now that was one heck of a crazy party and one ding dang storm! I hope to never, ever see another one of those! Boy Howdy!

Did somebody mention a party? Yes! Y’all get ready to check out The Party Barn located at 1290 Cochran Road in Madison this Saturday April 9 for their grand openin’! Now this is a bona fied working farm owned by Lynda and her son John Brady. They are hosting a grand opening event with hay rides, hotdogs, baby goats, pony rides, a Moonwalk, face painters and then some! Y’all all come out from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. this Saturday April 9! I’m starved so it’s a dang good thing Amici Italian Café’s new menu Rocks! Ok first up, Amici hasn’t change a thing ‘bout their award-winnin’ pizzas or wings! So the BIG NEWS is the new selection six Entrée Salad, includin’: “Amici” Chicken Caesar Salad, House Salad, Chicken Salad Plate, Chopped Antipasto Salad, Crispy Chicken Salad and Seared Ahi Tuna Salad! Ok so my top FAVE is the Ahi Tuna Salad! It’s soooo good and only $10.49 lunch or dinner! Can’t beat that! Ok so it includes pan seared Ahi Tuna with Feta, Tomatoes, Kalamata Olives and Red Onions served over mixed Fresh Greens and a fantastic Sun Dried Tomato Basil-Rosemary Vinaigrette! I just could have this every ding dang day! Ok so y’all don’t forget the $5.99 Slice & Side Salad Combos too! Oh and they’re also servin’ up some really yummy sandwiches like  Grilled Chicken, Seared Ahi Tuna, Buffalo Chicken Bleu and more! My Way or the Hair Way! Ding dang! There’s a hair salon shuffle goin’ on! I’m talkin’ ‘bout Salon West has flat moved! It was formally located at 222 West Washington next to the Spa at the James Madison and it’s moved to 2490 Eatonton Road just past Tractor Supply. They offer full hair care services and facial waxing with four Master Cosmetologists. They also offer great tanning packages with regular, turbo and stand up beds! Dang! Salon West has completely remodeled the space! Give them a call at 706-343-0024 or 706-342-3966. Hours are Monday - Friday 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.    

Ok! So now the space next to the Spa at the James Madison has been transformed into The Salon at the James Madison with Argelia De La Torre and Brooke Haws! Y’all call 706-342-7000 to make an appointment!   

Yikes! I flat near forgot! The First concert of the Spring Series at Town Park is this Thursday! Tonight! April 7 from 7 p.m. til 9 p.m.! Dance to some oldies with the 9Gs!
