To the Editor:

Here's what I think about the "Heritage:  Natural and Cultural"  MAG Member Juried Show that opened Thursday, April 12th at MMCC:
Wow!  What an outstanding example of our two organizations coming together and creating an event to remember!  Amazing art, enough delicious food to feed an army of art mavens, and more fun than you could shake a mahl stick at!
My heart is full to the brim with gratitude to everyone at MMCC for this lovely show.  Thanks to the extraordinary talent of ALL the MAG members who entered, and to juror Alan MacTaggart, who selected a body of work was melded into a most elegant exhibition.
And what a reception!  MAG Foodies, you have absolutely outdone yourselves!   And equally appreciated was MMCC's generous contribution of all the libations, ham and biscuits, as well as the table ware and decor.  The presentation just couldn't have been prettier and so much credit goes to the Table Team of Mev Rozxman, Willene Coggins, Dottie Kurtz, and Pam Carruth.  Way to go women!
What a treasured prize we were all awarded last week with this MAG Member show at the venerable Madison Morgan Cultural Center, a pearl in the historic oyster that is our Madison.  The show runs through May 19 and I sincerely hope that anyone who did not attend the reception will make a point to visit the show before its conclusion.
