Spring Scandals! I don’t know how in Tarnation it happened but y’all Momma is The. Talk. Of. The. Town! I’m talkin’ the queen gossip subject! It’s so bad The Biz Buzz has had to come out of retirement to set the record straight! That’s right y’all! So here’s the whole story and nothin’ but! So first up is the rumor that Momma went out, sold the farm and is now the top bidder for Reynolds Plantation and all the ding dang golf courses, marinas and thousands of acres! Ain’t true, ain’t true, ain’t true! The top bidder is in fact the Birmingham, Ala.-based Daniel Corp.!
Ding Dang! Another falsehood on the street is that Momma was in the kitchen the night the fire broke out at Tequila Express! Preposterous! It flat ain’t true! But the true and good news is that owner Ricardo Casillas is re-openin’ Tequila Express located at 270 West Washington St. in Madison on May 3! Yay! Just smack in time for Cinco de Mayo! Check it out y’all!
Ok then somebody called the paper askin’ when Momma’s new video promoting the medicinal uses of White Lightnin’ was gonna premiere on the big screen TV over at the brand spankin’ new offices of Madison Family Medicine! What the? A bona fied fabrication! Momma didn’t make no dad blasted vicious video ‘bout White Lightnin’, which as far as the Buzz knows is slap-on-the-handcuffs illegal! What we do know is that Madison Family Medicine with Dr. Pamela Hall and Dr. Dan Zant is now in located in a slap-yo-momma  beautiful new office at 2002 South Main St. in the old Ag South building! Honey it’s flat uptown fabulous! I’m talkin’ top of the line! And, yes! They do have a brand spankin’ new big ole flat-screen TV but it’s showin’ nothin’ but old reruns of the Andy Griffin Show! Now that’s the truth y’all! You can check it all out for yourself !
Rutledge is flat hoppin’! I’m talkin’ all ‘bout the brand new Co-Op on East Main located at 106 East Main St., in Rutledge that’s open! Hey and they want everybody in Morgan County to come out for an Open House Celebration this Friday, May 4 from 6 p.m. til 8 p.m.! Ok so this Co-Op location is flat funky fun just like Rutledge! I mean they’ve  got five cool businesses operatin’ out of this space, includin’: G-PC Computer Repair, Ele and Honey Co., Terra Bella Landscaping & Plants, Molly’s Floor Cloths and Young Yoga with the fabulously flexible Eva! Love, love, LOVE IT! Y’all head over there Friday night ‘cause they are doin’ it up BIG! I mean Joellen of LilyBeth’s called to tell me many of the surroundin’ downtown Rutledge businesses are plannin’ to stay open for the Co-Op celebration with lots of fun deals! Honey I’ll see all y’all there! In the meantime, check out their ad in this week’s Madison In May Spring Tour of  Homes supplement! It’s on the Rutledge page!
Hey and what ‘bout the huge record-settin’ crowd MadisonFest attracted to Town Park last Saturday! Wow! Nearly 3,000 people! Way to go City of Madison and all of the fine volunteers who made it happen captain!
And, if y’all thought last Saturday’s MadisonFest brought the crowds into town honey, just wait til this weekend for the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center’s Annual Madison in May Spring Tour of Homes & Gardens!
That’s right y’all! This Friday and Saturday is gonna be flat slammed with folks from far and wide especially since that Fox 5 Atlanta came to town last week and just aired a story on the tour and the Cultural Center!
Y’all check out the full color, beautiful tour supplement in this newspaper for more information on the tour! And, honey go get yourself a ticket ‘cause you’re not gonna want to miss this one! Hey and check out all the local ads in that supplement! FANTASTIC! We sure couldn’t do it without all y’all fabulous advertisers! I’m gonna shop local like CRAZY!
I have flat gotta split ‘cause it’s ‘bout time to hit the front porch and relax! Y’all don’t work too hard, be real sweet and tell my handsome husband to buy me a brand spankin’ new Apple laptop! If he does that I might just pop out of retirement for good and get back to my regularly scheduled weekly column in the Number One Weekly Newspaper in the Great State of Georgia!
