Many locals taking time to celebrate their graduates
Sunday morning attendance was good; missed the ones out due to sickness, others working we hope everyone will be back soon. Visitors were present and we welcome them to come again and worship with us anytime we have service. God always blesses us each time visitors come and we know they are blessed also by God and encouraged by being in His house. The choir special, “Just when I need Him most.” Special music, “When it’s my Time,” by Peggy Harper. Bro. Ron’s message, “God’s Plan for you and me,” Phil. 2: 12-16 and other scripture. God is at work in our lives, He is the author and finisher of our faith. God’s plan can work out our salvation. Man’s responsibility of God’s plan to work out salvation, realize that you are loved by God, realize your need for obedience, realize resource, abilities and consequences. God’s part of the plan, He’s the person with us, it’s His power we never have to second-guess what He’s doing, His presence lives in us. His purpose is to will and to work, when we tell someone about Jesus it’s for His good pleasure, our number one ambition should be to please the Lord, prove yourself blameless and harmless and be a light for the world to see in this crooked and perverse nation.
Sunday night at 6 p.m. attendance was good. Special music by Ronald Atkinson, “Life’s Railway to Heaven.” Bro. Ron’s message continued on “Paul” and words that describe him. Phil.4: 11-19 and other scriptures. Some words that describe Paul are surrender, committed, contentment and humility. When saved he surrendered his life to Christ. Paul said for him to live in Christ and to die is gain. Paul had a life of suffering, suffered much for the cause of Christ. He experienced contentment in his time of want and prosperity. He learned to be content because God said He would never leave nor forsake us. Paul said he’s the least of the apostles, the chief of sinners, God’s power in Paul’s weakness, Jesus said my graced is sufficient. In our weakness God is strong. Paul learned to press on, move forward.

Life
If you want life’s best see to it that life gets your best.
Your life will have been misspent if you get to the end of the road without Christ.
Life is a canvas – you fill in the picture.
About the time you learn to make the most of life, the most of it is gone.
Life is either what you make of it or what it makes of you.
You can’t run your life on empty.
Life takes on new interest when we invest in the lives of others.
Life is hard by the yard – by the inch it’s a cinch.
Life is like a mirror we get the best results when we smile at it.
Life is like a game of tennis; the one who serve seldom loses.
Life is not measured by accumulations but by outlay.
Life is like a well – the deeper you go in God the more living you will find.
Life is like a camel – it never backs up.
Life however short is made still shorter by a waste of time.
Life is filled with shadows but it is sunshine that makes them all.
To have an upright life lean on Jesus.
Use your life carefully – there are no reruns.
The most important things in life are not things.
How is your Life?
Happy Mother’s Day To All Mothers.
