Startling health report shows U.S. getting fatter and fatter
To the Editor:
One of the prime health concerns in America today is obesity. A new CDC report states just over one-third of Americans are now obese and it’s predicted that number will increase to 40 percent by the year 2030 and severe obesity will double. The report indicates nearly 11 percent will be at least 100 pounds overweigh or more. The study also says preventing those increases could save over $560 billion in medical costs over the next two decades.
If you have serious concerns for yours and the future health of your family and children, it’s time to consider a program of regular diet and strenuous exercise. This also includes fewer trips to fast food chains.

Your health is in your hands. If you have plans for a long life it’s time you consider a healthier life style. The sooner you begin to make a change the better or you may be a candidate for cardiac bypasses or more sooner than you think.
