Lydia Norburg made it official Monday when she was welcomed to the Morgan County School System with two receptions, one with school board members and system adminisation and another with Morgan County Middle School staff.
Norburg is set to take the post of Morgan County Middle School principal, which was vacated by Joe Hutcheson earlier this year.
While she’s a native of Buckhead and was educated in Morgan County schools, Norburg comes to the middle school from Tift County in south Georgia, where she served as a school administrator for 11 years – 10 as assistant principal and one as principal. Prior to that, Norburg taught French for 13 years.
