Polly Ann Garrison, 71, of Greshamville, died May 21, 2012. She was born June 3 1940 in Morgan County to Usher “Rip” Almand and Mamie Lou Ethridge Almand. She was married to Bill Garrison. Mrs. Garrison was a homemaker and a member of Sugar Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed her flowers and watching birds.
She is survived by her husband Bill and children Jerry and Vicky Vanwhy, Beverly and Gene Stephens, Rhonda Garrison and Gail and Vernon Eaton. Her siblings are Betty Gatlin, Peggy Branch, Linda Almand and Sam Almand.  She leaves nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Patrick and a brother John Almand.
The family received friends Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at A. E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service was held in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Interment will follow at Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
