Gloria Jean Angel, 76, of Bishop, died May, 22, 2012. She was born in Jasper on October 7, 1935 to the late Julie Young Stone and the late Lee Onice Stone. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Angel; her daughter, Dorothy Mae Angel; her son, James Angel ; her sister, Lillien Stone; her brothers, G.C. Stone, and N.A. Stone.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Mildred and Dale Hawbaker of Monroe; sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Brenda Angel of Bishop, Kathy Angel of Bishop, David and Vicki Angel of Bishop, Bruce and Angie Angel of Madison; sisters, Louise, Dolly, Mamie Lee, Ann; Brothers, Butch, D.W., B.H., Edward, Buford, Howard; 17 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 23, at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Fryer officiating. Interment followed at Bostwick City Cemetery.
