Ferraro - Anna Dubinshak Ferraro

Ferraro - Anna Dubinshak Ferraro, 99 of Snellville, formerly from Pittsburgh, PA. Anna was called to her heavenly home on May 25, 2012.  She was born November 30, 1912 in West Newton, Pennsylvania.  She was the fourth oldest of 11 brothers and sisters; who all preceded her in death.
Sisters were Helen Durket, Mildred Pfaff, Mary Zachetti, Julia Kocent, Irene Ghion; brothers were Mike, John, George, Pete and Steve, all from Pennsylvania.  The circle is now complete all 11 brothers and sisters are together again.
Dearest to her heart was her love for her family.  She was married to her husband, James Carmen Ferraro for 51 years, who preceded her in death, in 1995.  Anna worked in her early years for the war effort making gas masks and for Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh.  In 1958 the family was transferred to Atlanta.  
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Judith and Fred Hoffman, Lawrenceville; son and daughter-in-law: James C. Jr. and Sheila Ferraro, Madison; grandson and wife: Chris and Lisa Ferraro, Sautee Nachoochee.

A funeral service was held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 29 in the Snellville Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home.  The burial followed at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens, Snellville. The family received friends 11 a.m - 1 p.m. Tuesday, prior to service at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 2246 Wisteria Drive, Snellville, Georgia 30078. 770-979-5010.
