George Henry Peek Jr. (Bubba), 55, of Madison passed away June 2, 2012.Bubba was born on Nov. 18, 1956 to George Henry Peek Sr. and Sarah Spears Peek. He was a truck driver for JLW Trucking. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going to the river. Family was number one to him.
Mr. Peek is survived by his wife Alice Peek, his mother Sarah Peek, children Dustin Peek and fiancé Diane Peavy and Dixie Peek. He is also survived by his siblings Patricia Ross and Mike, Joy Mines and Kenny, Foster Peek and Shelia and Beth Pickett; and his aunt Sue Thomas. Bubba was preceded in death by his father George Henry Peek Sr.
The family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 3 at A. E. Carter Funeral Home. Funeral service was held at 11 a.m. Monday, June 4 in the Chapel of A. E. Carter Funeral Home. Interment followed at Madison City Cemetery.
