Mildred Hardy Davis

Clemson- Mildred Hardy Davis, 89, widow of the late Robert Samuel Davis, formerly of Clemson died May 29, 2012 at NHC of Anderson.
A native of Oconee County she was the daughter of the late Virgil Homer and Nellie Caroline Bolt Hardy.  During her career she worked at Kendall Company as a Department Supervisor, Hostess of the Clemson House Dining Room, Abbott Worsted, and Derring Milliken. She was a member of Clemson Baptist Church.
Survivors include son, Phil Robert Davis of Lancaster, SC, daughter, Carolyn Markley of Rutledge, brother, Homer six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by brother, Jack Hardy, sisters, Margaret Greene and Frances Owens.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, at Oconee Memorial Park.
The family received friends following the service at Oconee Memorial Park.
The family is at their respective homes.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3223 Sunset Blvd., Suite 100, West Columbia, SC 29169 or Caris Hospice, 129 Straight Drive, Anderson, SC 29625.
