Ms. Mary Harper, 82, died at her home on June 9, 2012. Ms. Harper was the daughter of W.A. Harper and Mamie Dunevant. She was born on October 20, 1929 in Buckhead. She was retired from Seimen Manufacturing where she was an inspector. After retirement, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Ms. Harper is survived by two daughters, Karon Harper and Gail Stewart and Curtis. She also leaves four grandchildren, Curtis Stewart, Jr., Chris Stewart, Tammy Griffin and Jeremy Harper. She has ten great grandchildren. Ms. Harper has a sister, Sue Miller and a brother, Charles Johnson. She was preceded in death by Hilda Gunnells and William A. Johnson, Jr.
The family received friends on Sunday from 1:30 until 3:30 p.m. at A.E. Carter Funeral Home. A graveside service was held at 4 p.m. at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
