Brian Christopher Suggs, 36, of Athens passed away on June 9, 2012. He was born in East Point on March 22, 1976.
He was preceded in death by his father James Richard (Jimmy) Suggs and grandparents Tommy and Sue Suggs.
He is survived by his mother Kathy Solano (Willie Johnson) of Jenkinsburg; sister Holly Suggs (Chad) Roling of Buckhead; brother C. J. Suggs of Kansas; son Julian Suggs; grandparents, Doug (Judy) Ross of Monroe, Dorothy (Bob) Fuller of Riverdale; niece China Colley; nephews Hayden and Henry Roling of Buckhead; stepmother Mindy Burns of Madison and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was accomplished at playing the guitar and had a beautiful singing voice. He loved the outdoors and making things grow. He always helped his family with any landscaping projects. He loved all things living, had several pets including his beloved lab, Murphy.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16 at Buckhead Baptist Church, (buckheadbaptist.com) 1061 Parks Mill Road, Buckhead, GA 30625.There will be a luncheon to follow in the fellowship hall.
