Lloyd Pittman of Madison died July 4, 2012. He was born April 14, 1922 in Jackson County to Charlie and Pearl Pittman. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force serving in World War II. He operated his dairy farm for many years.
Mr. Pittman was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Cronic as well as a daughter Mary Elizabeth Harrison and a grandchild Cathy Harrison.
He is survived by a son Ray Pittman and Carolyn and two granddaughters Brooke Pittman and Jennifer Arrington, a grandson Kent Harrison, a great-grandchild Gracie Arrington; and sisters Janice Pittman, Dorothy Yearwood and Lois Davison.
A graveside service was held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 6 at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery.
A.E. Carter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
