Eva Duncan Rowland died July 23, 2012 at her home. She was the daughter of Alfred and Helga Renz. She was born December 30, 1929 in Stuttgart, Germany. She came to the United States and retired from the U. S. Postal Service as a payroll clerk. She attended Antioch Baptist Church in Godfrey. She enjoyed gardening and loved time spent with her family.
Mrs. Rowland is survived by her husband of 40 years Walter Rowland. She is also survived by her sons Jack Duncan and Geleta of Woodstock, Joe Duncan of Godfrey, Dennis Duncan and Jenny of Hampton and Mark Duncan of Godfrey; a brother Walter Renz in Germany and a sister Renate Muller of Greely, Penn., 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family received friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 24 at A. A. E. Carter Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Antioch Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Pennington Cemetery.
