Union Springs revival kicks into full gear this week

Our revival is in full swing this week with Prophet Frederick Collins from Birmingham, Ala. preaching. I hope to see you there.
Sunday we were glad to see our pastor and first lady back from their vacation. They enjoyed one of their gifts that the members gave them, which was a cruise. They said they really enjoyed it and he came back on fire for Jesus. His sermon for the new converts that were baptized came from Proverbs 21, “I always feel somebody is watching me.”
Believe me there is someone somewhere who is watching you for whatever reason there is; that’s even in your home your children are watching you so we need to be careful of the life we live in the present of our children. As pastor stated the Bible says train up a child in the way, which he should go and when he gets old he will not depart from it. And if he decided to depart with the correct teaching and training he will get back on track. Always teach your children what is right and what is wrong. Pray with them each night, bring them with you to Sunday school, Bible study and worship services and let them learn about the Lord. Remember somebody is always watching you and your children. Set a good example. “Praise God.”

Our pastor’s sermon came from Genesis 37: 17-24-28, text, “The Pitfall of Life.”  That was a blessed sermon. We all have had some pitfalls of life but the Lord always picks us up so that we must continue to trust him. Thank you Lord.
