Patricia Alford Paschall

Patricia Alford Paschall, 71, of Buckhead, died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012 at Serenity Place in Dublin. Born April 3, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Claude Lamar "Buster" Alford, Sr. and Mary Sue Smith Alford. She attended school in Buckhead and graduated from Morgan County High School. She furthered her education graduating from Mars Hill College and Massey Business College. She was an administrative assistant for Governor Ernest Vandiver and Governor Carl Sanders at the State Capitol.
On June 8, 1963, she married Joseph Franklin "Frank" Paschall at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Atlanta. After her daughter was born she stayed at home, but later worked for the Clayton County Board of Education with the PTA. She was a long-time member of the Buckhead Baptist Church, where she was the pianist and she also enjoyed shopping and collecting antiques.
In addition to her husband of 49 years, Frank Paschall of Buckhead, she is survived by a daughter, Kelly Paschall Stueber of Madison, a brother, Claude L. Alford, Jr. of Eatonton, a grandson, Franklin "Cole" Stueber, nieces, Candace Lynn Alford Wooten and husband, Tom of Eatonton and Claudia Leigh Alford Herald and husband, Joe of Pooler and her beloved dog, "Sir Duke."
Memorial services were held on at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at the Harold Alford Home Place, 2821 Kingston Road, Buckhead with Rev. Danny Smith and Rev. Steve Smith officiating. The family requests that any memorials be made to the American Diabetes Association, 225 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30303. McCommons Funeral Home, 109 W.
