Hey and speakin’ of a party . . . The Festival of Friends event to benefit Morgan Memorial Hospital is Saturday complete with cocktail party and silent auction before a series of individual dinner parties! Talk ‘bout fun! But, the real speculation is focused on the silent auction and on one particular item: The Talkin’ Hotdog! Momma flat wants it so y’all better not try and get it from her! Anyhow, the talkin’ hotdog item was started by Madisonian Chris Lambert who got the hotdog as a gift from her daughter. Anyhow whoever gets it at the silent auction gets it with strings attached! Accordin’ to last year’s talkin’ hotdog winner Ginger Gardner the winner: Cannot give the talkin’ hotdog away, Must donate back to the auction the followin’ year, and must give a hotdog party prior to the Festival of Friends event with all of the previous owners! I hear tell Ginger just the party and honey ain’t no one tellin’ nothin’ ‘bout what went on! So y’all head over to the silent auction and get that ding dang talkin’ hotdog!
