Kerr travels to Canada
Former Madisonian Tom Kerr accompanied a group on a recent 18-day tour to the Midwest and the Canadian Rockies, which included the Calgarry Stampede, Lake Louise, Glacier National Park, Mt. Rushmore and the Gateway Arch among the highlights. Standing left to right are Fred and Ann Zimmermann, Tom Kerr, Terrell and Janette Saffold.
Jimmy Howard formerly of Rutledge celebrated his 70th Birthday at his residence in Covington Saturday Aug.18 with approximately 30 of his family and friends including his friend and next door neighbor Suellen Sheppard.
Ina Wallace is a patient at Morgan County TCU. She hopes to be home soon.
Sympathy is extended to family and friends of Mark Roling who died Sunday.
Sonny Snowden was surprised last Saturday on his birthday when he was met at the Red Lobster in Athens for dinner. Among those enjoying the occasion with him were his father Bill Snowden, his mother Robin Benkoski and Peter, his sister Becky Snowden, his aunts, Glenda Nelms and Monaray Powers and cousin Dusty Adams.
Connie Jackson has returned from a visit with his son and family Scottie Jackson who is in the military.
