Momma! Are you off your ding dang rocker? Shut off that internet! You can’t see the crown jewels no how ‘cause TMZ redacted ‘em just like the CIA redacts super-sensitive-life-or-death spy intel! Wow! Sensitive is right! I mean there sure is a gigantic (and I do mean gigantic) scandalous fuss goin’ on ‘bout Prince Harry’s bare-naked-royal-romp in Vegas! And, honey it’s too colossal to cover up! The big question is this: What in the Sam Hill is Strip Billiards anyhow and why is His Royal Highness so dang bad at it? Plus word on the street says the Queen Mum is gonna slap Prince Harry into France! Well one thing is for sure y’all: Naked shenanigans that go on in Vegas do not always stay in Vegas! Prince Harry! You’re still the fun-fun-fun-est Royal EVER!
Which reminds me . . . you don’t have to go to Vegas to make a good bet honey! That’s right! And, the best bet around is a brand new restaurant on Main Street in Madison! Yes! Eenoco is now The Madison Ale House and it’s located at 133 South Main Street! Ok so the change happened just last week and y’all are flat gonna love it! First off, the food rocks it! Starters like fried pickles have Momma turnin’ cartwheels! Ok and they also serve up starters like fries in queso, bacon, jalapenos and served with ranch dressin’, sweet potato fries and jalapeno poppers! Yum! You can get salads with grilled or fried chicken, grilled steak, grilled or fried shrimp and applewood bacon! Perf! Then there are the famed Nachos with all sorts of toppings! And of course our Ale House has footlong dogs, burgers, wings, a huge selection of yummy tacos (my favorite is the grilled shrimp) and then some! Hey and of course they’ve got a really big selection of beers! Hey and the best part is that the Ale House is gonna be the best place to go to watch football! Can’t wait! Y’all get over there immediately and check it all out! Hey and owner Heath Burton says you have An Ale of a Good Time! Yay! Go Dogs, Tigers, Gators, Elephants, Yellow Jackets . . . well you get the picture!
Hey and speakin’ of football, honey Belles, Beaux & Gifts, located at 115 South Main Street in Madison just got in some really super cute University of Georgia sterling silver bracelet beads and a pendant that doubles as earring charms! Plus Theresa got in some UGA cooler totes, cutting board sets and some really perf tailgatin’ items! Well what are you waitin’ on? Get over there!
Sweet! Antique Sweets located at 127 South Main St., in Madison is hostin’ a yumalicious all-you-can-eat dessert night on Tuesday, Sept. 11 from 6:30 p.m. til 9 p.m.! Plus it’s all you can eat! Sign me up immediately! Ok so there will be two, one-hour tasting sessions on that night and you sign up for the one you want when you buy your ticket! Imagine eatin’ all the great Antique Sweets stuff you can eat in one hour! Oh and the cool thing is that you’ll get to taste-test some new items! Lord have mercy! Tickets are only $25! Get them at Antique Sweets! I love it!
The Power of Being! Wow y’all! Monica Culqui, owner of Sartoria Monica located in the Madison Markets campus, has just published a novel and honey she’s hostin’ a book signin’ event Sept. 4 at the former Meiere House location! I flat cannot wait to get me a signed copy of this cool book! It’s based on Monica’s childhood memories growing up in Ecuador! Y’all mark your calendars and make sure you go to this great book signin’! Love it! And, congrats Monica on the debute of your first novel! Wow!
Hey and a big congrats goes out to Madison Markets! They just flat celebrated their 10-year anniversary with a huge BASH! Owner Jane Royal put it all together honey and it was super fantastic! If you haven’t checked out this great antique destination, you just don’t know what you’re missin’!
Ding dang! This just in! Vicki Hunt at Barkin' Dogs Shoe Co. wants to tell everybody to come on down this weekend for a big ol' bowhonkin' Labor Day sale! Show up at 172 S. Main Street this weekend to take advantage of these sweet deals! I'm hopin' my handsome husband will get me those fire engine red Frye boots. Hint, hint. Christmas is just around the corner and they'd really look great at Thanksgiving!
Well that’s it for the Buzz this week! Y’all be sweet, don’t play with fire, shop local and talk Southern honey! We’ll see all next week!
