A memorial service for Joe Jeffrey “Jeff” Jordan was held at his home on Mallard Ridge Road Saturday, Sept. 1 at 2 p.m. hosted by his wife Gena Harvey Jordan and his two daughters Jennifer and Briana Jordan. The memorial service was a celebration of Jeff’s life and the love everyone held for him.   
His memorial service was held by the peaceful pond and rock waterfall that he created and built. Surrounded by flowers planted by his lovely wife Gena, friends gathered to pay their last respects. The eulogy was written and given by family friend E. J. Boyer. Speakers included Jeff’s daughter Jennifer Jordan, brother-in-law Michael Chaffin and co-worker Oly Olson who provided the closing prayer. Music included an acoustic version of “Further Along” by Brad Hicks as well as the song “I’ll Remember You,” by E. J. Boyer.
Brother-in-law Lee Harvey also provided a touching slide show of Jeff’s life from babyhood to the present. Donna Anderson sister-in-law provided a shadow box memorial to Jeff and Gena’s life together.
Guests included his in-laws, co-workers, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends of the family.
