Mamie L. Smith, maiden name (Cooper) (Mobley) died September 9, 2012 at home in Atlanta. She was a retired cook at Brown Hill School. Her hobbies included, fishing, dancing, sewing, and cooking
She was married to Otis Mobley in June of 1987.
She was a member of Brown Hill Baptist Church
Preceding her in death was her husband Levi Cooper and three children and Otis Mobley and five children, three grandsons and one granddaughter.
She is survived by Frank Cooper, Lee Jr. Cooper, Elijah Cooper, Leroy Cooper, Sally Drake, Horace Cooper and Deloris Chester, Shirley Cooper, Tiny Mobley and Rod Mobley.
Funeral Wake will be Friday, September 14 at Young Funeral Home, between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Mount Vernon Baptist.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
Flower Ladies and girls will be her grand daughters and great grand daughters.
