Lord Have Mercy! Sassy Sista has flat moved in with Momma and PawPaw! This is a disaster just a waitin’ to happen y’all! She’s bossin’ everybody from Bostwick to Rutledge! Why she even said she was gonna start writin’ a Sassy Sista column! Talk ‘bout a disaster! Plus she’s an extreme UGA Bulldog Fan! I’m talkin’ she makes Madisonian Mark Schlabach of ESPN look like a ding dang Auburn fan! This Saturday, Momma’s even gonna let her decorate the big house in red and black to go with her face on which she plans to paint a big ole ugly bulldog! I can’t take it anymore! Tacky? Meet Sassy Sista! But, don’t y’all worry none . . . pretty soon Sassy Sista’s gonna make momma mad and you know what that means! I can’t wait!
But one thing Sassy Sista and Biz Buzz do agree on is shoppin’! And y’all we’re fixin’ to get more shoppin’ opportunities right smack here in Madison! I’m talkin’ all ‘bout Mickey Moore and his partner Shirley Northrop! They’re gonna open up The Hub located on at 125 West Washington St. in downtown Madison right smack next to Scoops! Anyhow, I caught up with Shirley today and she gave me all the fabulous intel ‘bout the new shop and it is this: It’s gonna be like a small Steinmart or T.J. Maxx! Love it! I’m talkin’ big designer brands sold at 10 percent to 50 percent off retail prices! Plus all the items are brand new and come from retailers who overstocked! Shirley has a retail background and has contacts literally all over the world! Russia! Japan! China! and more! OK so The Hub is gonna primarily focus on women’s fashions but will also carry men’s fashions, home accessories, high end jewelry, fashion jewelry and occasionally children’s fashions! Hummmm. Brand names + Discount = Happy Shoppin’! Shirley says The Hub will be open in a few weeks! Until then, y’all keep watchin’ the Biz Buzz for more updates on this excitin’ shop!
