Morgan County authorities blocked traffic on High Shoals Road near Good Hope for more than two hours last Tuesday during a death investigation.
According to Morgan County Sheriff Office incident reports, deputies blocked the roadway after a cyclist reported observing an apparently deceased man in a vehicle on the side of the road.
Reports state that the 24-year-old Watkinsville man had apparently committed suicide.
Morgan County Sheriff Robert Markley said investigators treated the scene with an abundance of caution after observing two canisters of what later was identified as helium in the vehicle.
