Well-known locals take part in United Way’s annual fund-raiser, the Celebrity Server Dinner, Monday night at ChopHouse restaurant
Monday night’s Celebrity Server Dinner brought in more than $2,000 for the United Way, a dent in the group’s fund-raising goal of $20,000.
In total 14 United Way agencies serve more than 5,000 county residents.
Servers at the event included Terry Bowers, Bob Monk, Sonny and Patty Pennington, Patrick and Dianne Yost, Patrick and Christy Alligood, Ed Latham, Grady Mosley, Charles and Rae Merritt, Kenny and Sherry Moore, Chris Lambert, David Nunn, Tim and Janice Reilly, George Launius, Ellen Warren and Stan DeJarnett.
This event kicked off the United Way’s fund-raising campaing for this year.
