Autumn means hummingbirds begin move to warmer climate
Autumn is here; days are getting shorter and nights longer. I like this kind of weather; it’s my favorite time of the year. I can get out in the yard and start planting my bulbs. I have seen only three hummingbirds. I guess they are getting ready to fly back where the weather is warmer. I have really enjoyed watching them this summer. Only one month before Thanksgiving and next will be Christmas. This year has really gone by fast. I’ll have another birthday in November, which I will be thankful to see it if it’s the Lord’s will.
Condolences go out to the family of the late George Carter. Remember God never makes a mistake, continue to trust God.
We had another great day at the Springs. Pastor T. brought the Word from the book of James 5: 13-16, “The Power of Prayer.” We often think of the church as a place where we have to wear our best clothes, put on our happiest face and appear to have no problems or struggles. There are many having problems and are sick and feel ashamed to let anyone know. In verse 14 it says are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over then anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. Their prayers offered in faith will heal the sick and the Lord will make them well and those who have committed sins will be forgiven. You must confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. You can’t be too proud to let someone know because the prayers of a righteous person have great power and wonderful results. It’s nothing like the power of prayer. Read the Book of James it will tell you how to become a better Christian not only learning all we can about the Bible also apply what we learned as hearers of the word but doers too. Thank you Pastor T.
