David Timothy “Tim” Moss

David Timothy  “Tim”  Moss, 61, of Dahlonega, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville,  following a period of declining health.
Born February 14, 1951 in McDonough, he was the son of the late William Abraham Moss and Lottie Willard Ervin Moss.  He was also preceded in death by sisters, Catherine Ashley, Ruth Harrington and Debra Garland and brothers, Cleborn Moss and Jerry Moss.  Mr. Moss was a 1970 graduate of Morgan County High School and had retired from Georgia Power Company after 35 years of service.  Mr. Moss attended the Siloam Baptist Church and Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Trish Moss of Dahlonega; daughter, Dionne and Jimmy Mitchell of Cordele; sons, Andy and Heather Moss of Rock Mount; Brian and Emmalee Moss of Griffin; step-daughter, Amy and Jason Sullens of Dahlonega; step-son, Steven and Jennifer Mulkey of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Carrie Mitchell, David Mitchell, Claira-Anne Moss, Coleman Sullens, Emily Sullens, Audrey Sullens, Sarah Mulkey, Jacob Mulkey and Zachary Mulkey; brothers, Vernon and Deanne Moss of Stockbridge, Lamar and Janet Moss of Rutledge, and Larry Moss of Buford; several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m., Saturday, November 3, at the Dahlonega Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Steve Baker and Rev. Lyman Caldwell officiating with the interment following in Bethlehem/Jones Chapel Cemetery.
The family received friends at the Dahlonega Funeral Home on Friday evening, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  and on Saturday 10 a.m. until the funeral hour.
