The Morgan County Swim Dogs had their first meet of the 2012-2013 season on Monday against Eastside High School.
The Swim Dogs outscored Eastside 1131 points to 919. Some of the top finishers of the night for Morgan County were juniors Jill Bara, Edward Robuck, and Chan Courchaine, sophomores Caroline Smith and Nick Hairell, and freshman Mary Claire Cardwell.
On Friday from 5-7 p.m., the Swim Dogs will be holding a barbecue fundraiser at the MCHS Cafeteria. The barbeque will be from H. Porkington. A combo of a sandwich, chips, and a drink will be sold for $5.
The Swim Dogs’ next meet will be on Nov. 10 at the Ramsey Center at UGA.
