The Morgan County High School Competition Cheerleading team placed third last Saturday at the Region Competition in Loganville.
“The girls performed better than they have all season and did great!” said Coach Amanda Pickles. “Everything hit and the girls were spirited and pumped throughout the routine.”
“They have worked extremely hard all season, and their hard work showed.”
Because of the result, the team is advancing to the State Sectionals, which will be held this Friday, Nov. 9, in Columbus. In order to get to the State Finals, they will have to place eighth or better in the sectionals. If they do, the final competition will begin Saturday, Nov. 10.
Coach Pickles said that the team, “can't wait to compete Friday and hopefully advance to Saturday.”
