Martha “Martee” Louise Partee, age 82, of Social Circle, passed away peacefully at home on November 10, 2012. She was born on July 12, 1930 to the late Mae Penick Thurmond Blackwell and the late Flonnie Thurmond. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late John Donald Partee.
Surviving are: daughters and sons-in-law, Holly and Bill Carr of Social Circle, Robin and Clay Smith of Social Circle; sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Jane Partee of Social Circle, Scott and Jane Partee of Panama City, FL; grandchildren, Melanie and James Cox of Social Circle, Suzanne Partee of Conyers, Jason and Kristi Carr of Monroe, Chas and Keith Williams of Social Circle, Jamie and Julius Hays of Mansfield, Kristen Partee of Germany, John Morgan Partee, Michael Partee, Laura Partee, all of Panama City, FL, Kennedy Smith of Social Circle; and nine great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Wednesday, November 14 at 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Meadows Funeral Home with the Rev. Richard Noth officiating. Interment followed at Studdard Cemetery.
