After advancing beyond the 8-AAA region tournament by placing third, the MCHS competition cheerleading squad placing 10th in the State Sectionals, narrowly missing the eighth place finish that they needed to move on to the State tournament.
Although many of the competition cheerleaders are expected to return to the team during the competition season next year, the squad will have to say goodbye to Sarah Jones and Brooke Rector, the two seniors on the team.
Congratulations to the competition cheerleaders on their successes during the 2012 season.
