Stop dilly dallying and get in the ding dang car! We’ve gotta speed to Momma’s and fast! The net-net is this: Momma says she’s gonna wash that gray right outta her hair and go Rouge – as in RED! This is flat scary y’all! I’m talkin’ Alfred Hitchcock ain’t got nothin’ on this! That’s ‘cause mean ole spiteful Sassy Sista is gonna to the hair dyin’! Lord Have Mercy! We gotta talk her outta of it! Here we are! Now let me find those fools! Momma! Sista! Where y’all at? Who’s cryin’? Oh. My. Ever. Livin. GOSH! Momma! Your hair ain’t red . . . it’s a horrible shade of pink-purple! Talk ‘bout a horror flick! Well . . . you sure can’t shop local with that hairdo! But quit your dyin’ cryin’! There’s a new salon right up the road in Rutledge and honey I flat know they’ll be able to fix this sensational Sassy Sista scandal!
That’s right y’all! Reflections of Rutledge Salon & Spa is located at 113B Fairplay St., in downtown Rutledge right behind the Back to Wellness building! Anyhow, I popped over to the Christmas in the Country event last Friday and honey owner Cyndi Eaton and stylist Sarah Mullis told me all ‘bout it! OK so here’s the deal: They are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. til 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. til 1 p.m.! They do haircuts and stylin’ for men, women and children and do foils, perms and waxings! Oh and they also have spa services like “Serenity for the Sole” which is a relaxin’ foot soak and leg and foot exfoliation, mask and massage and facials! Y’all head over there today to check it out! Hold the phone! Faye Craft over at the Madison ChopHouse Grille wanted me to tell all y’all the ChopHouse is now servin’ BREAKFAST! That’s right so honey I just had to get my bowhonkers over there to try it out last week and it was flat DELISH! Honey ChopHouse baker Jessica White of Madison makes a mean coffee cake but let me just tell you right now – Jessica’s banana chocolate chip bread cannot be beat! It is the PERF breakfast treat! OK so they also have apple, pumpkin and blueberry muffins, hot croissant sandwiches with turkey or ham and you can add an egg (YUM), and an assortment of cookies like oatmeal, white chocolate chip and molasses! Oh and you can order those cookies up by the dozen! So anyhow, this is the perf place for those early morning breakfast meetings! The ChopHouse serves breakfast Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. til 10:00 a.m. Hey and Faye wanted y’all to know that they will fix you up with a breakfast tray for your office meeting if you give ‘em 24-hour notice! Theresa Bishop of Belles, Beaux & Gifts wanted me to remind all y’all to pop in on Black Friday (that’s this Friday after Thanksgivin’) to check out her special sale items! Oh and that’s the day the special Pandora Black Friday charm will be unveiled and honey Theresa says it’s flat gorgeous! Also y’all mark your calendars for a book signin’ on Friday, Nov. 30 during the tour of homes! Yes! Famous chef Ginny McCormack will be at Belles, Beaux & Gifts for a book signing of her outrageously popular Sunday In The South cookbook! Ok so it’s from noon til 3 p.m. on Friday Nov. 30. Theresa says she’s already takin’ preorders for the book so you can go ahead and reserve you a copy! Oh and they’ll be servin’ up Theresa’s famous mimosas and snack food during the event! Get the book! It will make the PERF gift!

Town & Country owner Ginger Gardner says for y’all to check out her sales rack and to go ahead and get your North Face jacket cause honey she will flat sell out of those popular brands! Amelia’s owner Kim Watts and Barkin’ Dogs Shoe Co. owner Vickie Hunt wanted me to tell y’all that they have both expanded their SALES items so get in there too for some FAB fashions, shoes and boots! I flat can’t wait!
