Wrestling Christmas Classic planned for this weekend

The Morgan County Christmas Classic will begin this Friday at the Morgan County High School. The tournament will include 13 schools from around the state, including Banks County, Oconee County, and Jackson County from the AAA class. Roswell and McEachern will be two of the AAAAAA teams competing.
“The Christmas Classic will be another great showcase for our local and metro talent,” said head coach John Robbins.
The opening ceremonies for the event will begin at 5:15 p.m. on Friday afternoon and will be followed by the first round of competition at, the quarterfinal matches, and the first round of consolation matches.
The tournament will resume Saturday morning with the championship semifinals and second consolation round, both of which will take place before noon.
The consolation quarter- and semifinals will precede the medal matches Saturday afternoon. The medal matches should begin at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Come out to support the MCHS wrestling team this weekend at the Christmas Classic.
