The Humane Society of Morgan County raised $1,220 at its annual Bow Wow breakfast last Saturday.
Belinda Bell, Director of the Humane Society of Morgan County said it went “fairly well.”
“It was a little less than last year,” she said. “We are pleased with the event and covered all of our expenses.”
Waffle House catered the event. Proceeds will benefit the society’s Sick and Injured Animal Fund.
The fund allows them to rescue adoptable animals with medical issues requiring treatment. Examples include heartworm positive dogs, and animals that have had to have an eye or limb removed.
