Norman McGlohon, Northeast District Executive Director, said they have not looked at the status of the Morgan County extension agent job posting (number 20121854) since it went up on the University of Georgia website Nov. 28.
“It’s open until Jan. 2,” he said. “We won’t even look at it until then because so many applications come in at the last minute.”
The previous Morgan County extension agent, Bobby Smith, resigned effective Sept. 1.
In an earlier interview, McGlohon said interviews will quickly follow the closing date. Paperwork for the new hire will take eight to 10 weeks.
